Tsurumai – Higashiyama Zoo & Botanical Gardens Route(About 10 km)

This Route starts in Tsurumai Park, a relaxing space bright with colorful flowers and blossoms.
Constructed in 1909, the Park is home to architectural assets designed by Teiji Suzuki, known as the father of Aichi modern architecture, and a statue of Keisuke Ito, Japan’s first Doctor of Science and a friend of Philip Franz von Siebold, a German physician who visited Japan in 1823 and contributed greatly to modernizing the country.
After a visit to the museum of musical instruments, built in the production center of violins and other instruments, and two universities (Nagoya Institute of Technology and Nagoya University), this Route ends in Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
